Pet Policy

Note: Each property owner is allowed to set their pet policy. Though most PMI Birdy properties allow pets, please see the property listing to determine if the home you’re interested in allows pets.

  • All pets must have shots required by statute. Please be prepared to show documentation when completing the required Pet Profile at Birdy.Petscreening.com.
  • Breeds with a disposition for aggressive behavior maybe denied by the landlord on a case by case basis.
  • Most properties have restrictions on the number of pets and the size of the pet. Please check with the property listing for specific details.
  • Be prepared to provide a picture of your pet and vaccination records.
  • A One-time Processing Fee of $100 per pet and a Monthly Pet Fee will be due monthly with your rent payment. Pet Fee varies based on the risk level of the pet with a range of $40-100 per month. *This policy may vary for some specific properties due to unique requirements. Pet Screening

Pet Screening is a simple and secure tool allowing you to store all the important information about your pet in one place.

  • Household Pet Profile - $30 with credit card/debit payment or $25 by ACH per profile.
  • Assistance Animal Profile (Service and Support animal profile) - $0
  • No Pet/Animal Profile - $0

After each year, all profile types will need to be renewed. The household pet profile is the only profile that is associated with a renewal fee. The renewal cost is $30 when payable by credit card/debit card or $25 when payable by ACH. If renewed early, you can save an additional $5, which would be $25 for a credit/debit card or $20 by ACH payment.

The resident can renew their household pet profile up to 90 days before it expires.
